"Being an empath is very hard because I continuously attract narcissists that gnaw away at my image of self. They have so many problems and impose it on me no matter what I am going through. They just don't care about you. It's only them and their feelings of hate, wrath, jealousy, envy, etc. Eventually I began losing me and with every connection I lost another ability. I looked worn out and pitiful, yet still helped others wishing I could do more. Now I see the importance of putting myself first.
